Amy Robinson
Amy Robinson has owned a dance studio in Southern Indiana for over 10 years. She is a certified studio owner through the International Association of Professions Career College. Her mission of empowering students through excellent instruction and her belief in the power of dance to change lives for the better has inspired her come to the aid of fellow studio owners by creating Studio Planner Pro. It is her dream that all studio owners will soon have the tools for joy and success in studios and their lives.
Amy received her dance education with an emphasis in Ballet at
Springs City Ballet in Colorado Springs, Colorado, North Carolina
School of the Arts, and Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. Mrs. Robinson has been educating dancers from toddler to pre-professional in ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary for over 25 years.
She is an ABT® certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Her passion to teach movement lead her also to become a certified yoga and Pilates instructor. Amy has completed teachers’ trainings with leaders of the national yoga community at The Midwest Yoga Conference, and received a teaching certification from the American Aerobic Association International/ International Sports Medicine Association, and a Pilates certification through Balance Body. She is also currently teaching movement classes for people with Parkinson’s Disease for the Parkinson’s Support Center of Kentuckiana.
When Amy takes breaks from dancing, teaching and writing she loves to spend time with her 3 sons, her husband and her 2 canine companions.
Audra Brian
Audra is originally from Russell Springs, Kentucky. She is a graduate from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Business and a minor in Dance. After graduation, she was the Dance Studio Director for All About Kids Sports Center in Louisville for over 6 years and went on to work for The Louisville Ballet School as an Administrative Coordinator, Program Manager for their Children’s and Complementary Programs, and as a faculty member.
Since moving to Louisville she has performed in numerous Modern and Contemporary works with Moving Collective and Theresa Bautista Dance.
She is a certified Ballet and Jazz Instructor through Dance Masters of America, a certified Progressing Ballet Technique Instructor, a Group Fitness Instructor certified through the American Council on Exercise, a certified instructor for Basic Level Giordano Jazz, and a certified Junior Acro Instructor with the Acro Dance Teachers Association. Audra is a faculty member at Amy’s studio teaching various classes, directing their company dancers, and working behind the scenes in the studio adminstration.
When she is not teaching she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, and their two fur babies.
